*Disclaimer* The section of the path, approaching Penyard Lane, (alongside Ross Farm Machinery) has been inaccessible to Buggies, Mobility Vehicles and walkers (unless wearing wellies) since October 2019, because of constant flooding and deep mud. Please use an alternative section to enjoy this walk. If this should change, please contact us.

Ross on Wye in the county of Herefordshire is a beautiful market town situated on the River Wye and close to the Forest of Dean.

The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are popular tourist destinations.  Ross on Wye boasts that it is a ‘Walkers are Welcome’ Town.

With so many things to see and places to visit, it is not difficult to understand why.

The Town is steeped in history and this barrier free walk around the town  passes by many of its landmarks. Spend time exploring the church of St Mary and the Town and Country Trail. Enjoy a picnic by the river and the stroll through the park.

The buggy Walk is so family friendly. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s great that Walkers are Welcome Towns are beginning to incorporate wheel friendly treks. This buggy walk is a great way of exploring Ross on Wye and learning about its history.
