Campaign for National Parks is the only national charity dedicated to protecting and improving the National Parks of England and Wales. We work hard to protect National Parks from inappropriate development – leaving them safe and secure for the next generation. We also want to build on the success of the Parks by ensuring everyone has the chance to experience their beauty, peace and tranquillity, and by ensuring our native wildlife is flourishing in these protected landscapes.
Since we were established over 80 years ago to campaign for the establishment of National Parks we have achieved success with the help of our supporters and partners. The National Park family now has thirteen National Parks, including ten in England and three in Wales, attracting millions of visitors each year and home to some of our rarest species.
